Commemorating the Founder Day for McAuley

This Friday 26th November we will acknowledge Saint Catherine McAuley

All students in the McAuley (Blue) Colour House are invited to wear a blue accessory this Friday to acknowledge our McAuley Founder Day. This is a catch-up day from ‘Mercy Day’ on September 24th. Students in the McAuley Colour House are invited to wear a blue accessory (eg. a blue ribbon, blue hat, blue socks/shoes.) No coloured hair spray please. This will be a special day for students in the McAuley Colour House, where they will lead their classes in Prayer. Feel free to speak with your child about the works of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy- information is provided on this link.

Sacraments

Congratulations to our Year Three students last week who made their Sacrament of Reconciliation. What a special time for the students in their Sacramental journey. 

Next week, Year Four students will be making their First Holy Communion. This is a significant event in the children’s Sacramental life, where they first receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist. We wish Year Four students all the very best as they prepare for this important event in their Sacramental journey.

Parents are invited to attend these Liturgies- please arrive 15-20 minutes earlier to sign in using the QR code and the sign-in sheet.
