Sacred Heart Celebrates
Hands up who had fun at ‘Sacred Heart Celebrates’ on Saturday night?
And who else had sore cheeks from smiling and laughing so much?
If you joined us on Saturday night, I’m sure you’d agree that our casual ‘community soiree’ was a genuine celebration of our lively, fun-loving and close-knit school community.
We had a great turnout (despite the rain) and everyone was treated to delicious food and rousing entertainment from our live musicians, which carried into an awesome playlist from the DJ. Stories and laughter were flowing (as much as the drinks) among groups of old and new friends, under the lights strung across the basketball court. The fun atmosphere made for a memorable evening.
Special acknowledgement is owed to; the P&F Committee who thoughtfully planned the event, put it all together, and tidied up again, when the party was over; Michelle Glynn who worked tirelessly on the day and through the night; as well as Julie Caldwell who contributed an enormous amount of thought and consideration to all the details. Thanks also to our dedicated Office staff, years 4, 5 and 6 students, parent volunteers, Masterchef petit four baker, our talented musicians, and the Beaupre family who donated the stunning artworks to raffle.
Congratulations to our lucky raffle winners: Gabrielle O'Carroll and Claire Brickley (Yr 2 Teacher) who each won one of the stunning artworks.
