Sacred Heart Swim for Success

Sacred Heart local girls secure their spot at the PSSA Swimming Championships to be held in April at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. The girls swimming journey began at their school carnival in early December of 2018. By displaying their swimming prowess, they were individually selected to form a 4 x 50 metre Freestyle relay to represent Sacred Heart Catholic School at the Eastern Suburbs Swimming Trials in February. After placing in the top 3, they then prepare for their next event at the Eastern Region Championships held in late February. After a dominating 1st place swim and breaking the Eastern Region record that was held for 8 consecutive years, they take their swimmers and caps to the Mackillop Swimming Championships. Through their dedication, teamwork and passion for the pool, the girls gave it their all in this high pressure event and walked away with a 1st place swim selection for the PSSA Swimming Championships, many smiles and wonderful memories of their final year of Primary School.
