96 Sacred Heart Footballers across 9 teams.

The modified winter season for soccer kicked off in June.

Due to the COVID guidelines we all had to train under strict social distancing rules and NSW Football return to play guidelines in small staggered groups.

Everyone was extremely grateful to be playing and all the children adapted amazingly to the new rules. The logistics of playing and training during strict conditions were a challenge and we could not have done it without our football coordinators, NSFA and our volunteer parent coaches and managers. 

Earlier in the year it was unimaginable that we would be able to get 96 SHM junior footballers to train at Middle Head Oval and to compete and play 14 rounds of football.

We are also grateful for our professional coaches at XLR8 who were flexible and went above and beyond what usually would be required. We want to thank each volunteer coach and manager for making the season happen.
