Dear Parents and Carers

This Friday we celebrate the feast of the Sacred Heart, our parish and school feast day. 

It is a special day where we celebrate unconditional love of Jesus for us. We would love parents to join us at mass via Zoom. Our Year Six students will attend mass in the church and all other classes will “attend” via Zoom from their classrooms. Mrs Edwards and the Year 6 students have prepared some activities for the rest of the day to learn more about our Australian Catholic heritage and they have prepared other activities as well. Our afternoon pickup is so quick now because of your co-operation, the students are in a routine and the number of teachers who volunteer their time to assist. We would like to push our pickup time / finish time to 3.00pm - starting next Monday 22nd June. This means that the Kinder children and their siblings would be picked up from 3.00pm, the Year 1-2 children and their siblings from 3.05pm and the 3-6 children from 3.10pm. The children being picked up by parents will continue to wait in the playground (not carline please). Children walking home and on crossing will leave school at 3.00pm.

We will be holding our Sports Club meeting this evening. Many restrictions have been easing. Netball training began this week. Thankyou to our volunteer coaches. Many thanks to the Sports Club and the conveners for their work to get the winter sports up and running again. 

Please see the revised date for Book Week: We have rescheduled Book Week to October with the same theme “ Curious Minds Wild Creatures” The children's parade has been scheduled for Tuesday October 20th and visiting authors have been booked for the same week.
