On Thursday 3rd June, Year Six students celebrated the Feast of Pentecost during a Mass in the School Hall. As the Church is temporarily unavailable due to Covid restrictions, we were so fortunate to have Father Henry come to our school to celebrate and share the Eucharist with us. The theme of the Mass was "One in the Spirit" and reminded us of the story of the first Pentecost. In his homily, Father Henry spoke about the Holy Spirit filling each of us with gifts from God. As Christians we now have a duty to share these gifts with others through love and service. I particularly congratulate Year Six on their reverent and respectful behaviour in the hall, their responses and readings and the knowledge they displayed about the Feast of Pentecost. Well done Year Six.
