LIBRARY NEWS
We can’t believe that we are just about half-way through Term 2 already! Where has the time gone? We hope some of that time has been spent escaping with a book.
Next week, the Library will be open again for students to visit and borrow books. Could you please take the time now to look for books at home that need to be returned and ensure that your child has a library bag too.
The Library layout has changed a little making it easier to find and select books at all levels for all students. Looking forward to sharing it with you all. We still need to practice good, safe hygiene and students will be reminded of this as they enter the Library.
Our Premier’s Reading Challenge is well underway and we have a wall filling up with the names of our students who have completed their challenge already. Encourage your child to join up if they haven’t already done so. Password details were sent to all students however, if details have been lost, or if there are problems logging in, please email me – cecilia.jago@syd.catholic.edu.au
Some more great news to share – Book Week 2020 is still going ahead, but has been postponed until Term 4, October 17th to 23rd. The theme is CURIOUS MINDS, WILD CREATURES!
Just wait till you see what we have organised……. Watch this space!
Stay safe and happy reading.
