PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Parents and Carers,
"In our rush to return to normal we should consider which parts of normal are worth returning to." (Dave Hollis)
Most of our children have been back at school this week and we had many smiling faces as children saw their friends and teachers. I know many children have enjoyed their time at home with you especially as you found new and old ways of connecting and spending time. It is worth reflecting to see if there were some good parts of the lockdown that can be retained while the more difficult parts start to fade from our memories. It almost seems like life is normal again but we will still need to be vigilant and not relax too much to ensure that COVID-19 does not appear in our community.
If your children are coming to school any day other than their allocated day you must book them in through the office - email to info@shmosman.catholic.edu.au
Thankyou to the many families that have used carline. It is a much safer way for staff to hand over children. We allocated extra teachers and it was a quicker process on Tuesday. In Week 5 when all students are back at school we will begin carline at 2.50pm and have a staggered approach to collection.
Thank you to the P and F who today presented all the staff at Sacred Heart with a gift voucher. The teachers wanted to say a big thank you for the parent’s generosity and acknowledgement of their work.
Regards
Julie Caldwell
