Important information regarding student and parent/guardian residential addresses to be provided to the Australian Government
In October last year the school had to supply the 2018 Australian Government Student Residential Address and Other Information Collection to SCS. This is an annual collection and we are now required to provide this same information for 2019 students, with the collection closing on Monday, 18 March.
Data provided includes parent/guardian names and residential address. Student names are not provided and they are identified only by their unique student identification number (USIN).
This annual collection is used to inform Commonwealth school education policy and funding arrangements for non-government schools. Data is collected and used in accordance with the Australian Education Regulation 2013.
Principals are required to provide this form, 2019_Student_Residential_Address_Collection_notice.pdf, together with FAQs_2019_Student_Residential_Address_Collection.pdf from the Australian Government to all families in our schools, informing them of the 2019 Collection. This can be through the school newsletter or other appropriate means that will ensure each family receives, or has access to, a copy of the document, as soon as possible.
Parents are to ensure their details recorded with the school are up to date and correct. Please take a minute to log into Compass and check your information held on record if you have moved during the past 6 months.
