HeartFelt
Heartfelt
Term 1, Week 4
“Just as our bodies act against injury by producing inflammation, our souls react to stress with patterned responses. We become anxious when a loved one is sick. We feel irritated after an argument. Insomnia develops because we’re having problems at work. Our feelings and emotions are natural response to the bleak spiritual breaks, cuts, bruises and threats we experience…….Problems arise when those emotional and spiritual reactions turn chronic. Anxiety, fear, and stress take charge even during what should be down time…….. When times like these arise, when your soul is raw and inflamed, try to remember who you are. Sometimes the best way to do this is to find something you love or once loved to do. Moving your body, stimulating our mind and engaging in conversation might not sound like a way to ward off spiritual inflammation, but what these acts do is to help you recover a feeling of possibility and connection.”

Children are most welcome but need to be supervised by their parents.
We pray for…
Mary Harold (Harold Electrics). She was a lovely lady and very well known in the parish. May she rest in peace.
SPaR……….Stop,Pray,Reflect…
It was so lovely to have SPaR this week.
Time to sit down and have a coffee seems to be a gift!
It’s nice to share it with nice people.
Thank you to the parents who have donated to our Vinnies Snack Basket in the School Office. Keep them coming!
DOES YOUR TEENAGER NEED COMMUNITY HOURS FOR SCHOOL? CAN THEY BAKE?
I will be taking baked goods to Vinnies on Monday 4th March.
There are five steps involved:
1/ email Mary Lozina to let me know you are participating.
2/ Bake brownies, slices or biscuits at home.
3/ Pack individually in sealed snack bags.
4/ Drop off at the school office before 8.45.
5/ Bring in your forms to be signed off.
If you would like to do this, regardless of community points, feel free! The homeless love a homemade sweet treat.
