Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome back to Term 4. I hope you had a restful and enjoyable break from school.

Some of the school highlights this term that I hope you might be available for are:

Week 1

• Spanish lessons begin after school
• Dr Wylie’s Young Investigator’s group begins before school
• First Reconciliation Family Night 6.30pm tonight
• Year 3 Blessing of the Animals Mass Sunday 20th October
• PEER Support lessons begin this week. 2019 focus - to reinforce our anti bullying message, linking our new PDHPE syllabus on interpersonal skills and align them both to our new PAWS behaviour expectations.

Week 2

• Catholic Primary Schools Basketball Challenge Albury. Mr de Villiers and I will spend the weekend with our Basketballers who play against teams from country NSW and Sydney. Thank you to the Sports Club for organsing the weekend event.

Week 3 

• Music Mates Whole School Rock Orchestra - Parents welcome to sessions. Children may join the Rock Orchestra lessons in 2019. An expression of interest will be sent home after the concert.
• Our first 2020 Kinder Orientation morning
• All Saints Day Whole School Mass 9.15am
• Year 5 Family Mass 9am Sunday 3rd November

Week 4

• Our second 2020 Kinder Orientation morning
• SUMMER FUN DAY - mufti fundraiser for the Spring Fair

Week 5

• 11th November Remembrance Day Liturgy
• Reconciliation Retreat Day
• MATHS WORKSHOP for parents on Wednesday 13th November at 9am in the library. To register please do so through the Compass event notification link. This workshop will present the fundamentals of Addition and Subtraction from Kinder through to Year 6.  
• Big Blue Awards 

• SPRING FAIR - SUNDAY 17th November 12-4pm

Week 6

• Year 4 Boys Enrichment Day Marist College North Shore
• Year 4 Girls Dance Coaching Day Marist College North Shore
• St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal begins

Week 7

• Advent Liturgy - Year 2 and 5
• Years 2-6 SWIMMING CARNIVAL - Manly Pool
  K-1 Water Safety Day at school

Week 8

• Advent Liturgy Year 1 and 4
• SH Parents Christmas Party 7th December

Week 9

• Christmas Carols 6pm 10th December

• Graduation Mass 6pm 12th December

Week 10

• End of Year Mass 17th December 9.15am

• Students Last Day 18th December
