Sacred Heart Feast Day, this Friday 27th June
A reminder that this Friday we will celebrate our special Feast Day for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All children are invited to wear Mufti clothing as part of our special day. Please ensure warm clothing is worn, along with closed shoes. We will begin the day with a whole school Mass @ 9:15am, followed by feast day celebrations throughout the day. We invite the children to bring a picnic rug for a picnic lunch together on the Basketball Court. Children bring their own 1st and 2nd lunch (or lunch order) as per normal.
Students will be provided with special picnic snacks to enjoy after eating their lunch including- a fun size packet of original (plain) smiths crisps, 2 x natural confectionary snakes and a lemonade ice block.
Sacred Heart Feast Day Jubilee celebration
This Friday we will have a special guest from Sydney Catholic Schools to help celebrate our feast day. Singer and songwriter John Burland, along with his team, will lead us in a Jubilee celebration of faith held in the school hall. The first session is for Years Three to Five classes commencing at 11:30am. The second session is for Kinder to Year Two classes commencing at 12:20pm. Parents are warmly invited to attend.
St Vincent de Paul Winter Hamper Drive
A sincere thank you for your generosity in supporting the St Vincent de Paul Winter Hamper Appeal for 2025. A big thank you to Mrs Luscombe, Mrs Macri and the Year Six Pope Francis Award students for assembling the hampers. Hampers will be presented to the St Vincent de Paul Society this coming Friday at our Feast Day Mass. Thank you for showing your generosity and kindness to those in our community who are in need of support this Winter.
Kindergarten and Year Six Buddy Mass this Sunday, 29th June 9am
We warmly welcome Kinder & Year Six families to join for the 9am Family Mass this Sunday, 29th of June at Sacred Heart Church, followed by morning tea in the Parish courtyard. We ask that our Kinder families please bring a small plate to contribute to the morning tea after Mass.
