June: ❤️ The Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

This month, we are reflecting on Christ’s love for us, personal, sacrificial and constant. In the busyness of school life, may we continue to turn to the Sacred Heart for strength, peace and purpose.

“Let us ask the Lord that we might make our hearts like His: full of love and compassion.”  – Pope Francis“Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like yours.”

What’s June All About?

FE_1.jpgJune in the Catholic calendar is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus a powerful symbol of God’s endless love for each of us. It’s not just about a heart on fire (though it is ?), it’s about how deeply Jesus cares for YOU, no matter what.
In a world that can be cold or full of pressure, the Sacred Heart reminds us that God’s love is warm, personal, and constant.

Life can be full-on. Deadlines. Friendships. Family dramas. Life gets messy. But the Sacred Heart is a reminder that Jesus is right there in the middle of it, loving us through it all.

His heart is:

  • Wounded – because He understands pain.
  • Burning with love – because you matter to Him.
  • Open – inviting us to come as we are.

The Sacred Heart is God saying, “I see you, I love you, and I’m with you.

I attended the annual 2025 Walk with Christ procession, celebrating the Feast of Corpus Christi, in Sydney last Sunday. It was an amazing, faith filled event to be part off. I highly recommend you consider attending with your families next year.

The "Walk with Christ" is a Eucharistic procession through the streets of Sydney, honouring the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ. It's a public display of faith, described as a continuation of the Eucharistic celebration where the faithful publicly profess their belief in the Blessed Sacrament.

The procession ended at St. Mary's Cathedral with a liturgy held at the Cathedral forecourt. This event is a joyous occasion for Sydney Catholics to unite in prayer and worship, and it is also a preparation for the International Eucharistic Congress in Sydney in 2028.     https://catholicweekly.com.au/record-numbers-follow-in-faith-and-walk-with-christ-2025/
