Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday break.

Just a friendly reminder about our Parent Engagement Workshop - Understanding your Child’s Reading Development, focused on supporting your child's early reading development. This is a collaborative workshop for parents from both Blessed Sacrament and Sacred Heart schools, which is a wonderful way to interact and meet one another in a relaxed and friendly environment.

 Workshop Details:

• Date: Week 3, Friday, May 16th
• Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Location: School Library, Sacred Heart Mosman

This workshop will provide you with valuable insights into:

• The key stages of early reading development.
• How to build strong foundational reading skills.
• The importance of a balanced approach to reading instruction.
• Practical and effective strategies to nurture a love of reading in your child at home

We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for your child's early reading success. Your active involvement in their reading journey makes a significant difference. The workshop, presented by Mrs McCartney and Miss Hollingsworth, will be held in-person and unfortunately will not be recorded or available via Zoom.
