PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Parents and Carers,
While our school prepares to wind down after the end of an amazing first term, it is important that we remember that, as a community, we are in one of the most important seasons in the Christian calendar.
We celebrate Easter and we are reminded that Jesus Christ died on the cross, He was buried and on the third day He rose again to bring hope to the world.
As you celebrate this wonderful holiday, remember that Christ gave His life for us willingly and unconditionally and so we should extend the same love to family, friends and those around us.
My prayer is that all of our families truly grasp the full meaning of Easter, that between the chocolate and the eggs and the family time, everyone takes time to reflect upon Easter and its meaning to all of us. We hope you can join us next week for our Holy Week Liturgies.
Thank you so much for your ongoing support of me this term, your welcome has been very much appreciated. Have a safe Easter break!
Last Friday, we welcomed our prospective parents and children to Sacred Heart at our Open Day. We were absolutely thrilled with the number of people that walked through our gates. Our staff and children worked so hard in preparation for this important day and I thank them all immensely for their effort, support and dedication. We also had a number of parents who gave up their time in order to join us and meet and welcome those who visited our school. I especially thank Mrs Imlach who worked so hard behind the scenes as well as on the day and Mrs Luscombe for the set up and preparation. Our Year 6 students are an absolute credit to our school, we have had a number of emails from parents to say how amazing our student tours were and how proud they would be if they were part of this community. THANK YOU, YEAR 6!!

Be part of the conversation: Sydney Catholic Schools is working to shape the future of Sacred Heart and invites your input and ideas.
As previously communicated, we are embarking on a community consultation program to help us shape the future of our school. All the information regarding the process and how you can get involved is now on our website via a dedicated consultation portal. This will be your information hub and will be regularly updated throughout the course of the year. It will also enable you to have your questions answered and where you will be able to contribute your views.
Two additional Parent Forum sessions have been added to the consultation process in response to your feedback.
The following options are now available for our parent community:
- Wednesday 29 March: 6:00pm-7.30pm (school hall) **TONIGHT
- Monday 3 April: 6:00pm-7.30pm (online- zoom link to come)
- Thursday 27 April: 6:00pm-7.30pm (school hall)
If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, you can share your thoughts at any time via the feedback form on the portal.
We look forward to your contribution to this important initiative.
May God bless all our families.
Leanne Meehan
