A Recount of Year 3 visiting The Australian Museum
My excursion to the Australian Museum
Yesterday, my class went on the bus to the Australian Museum. When we got in I looked up at the ceiling. I felt like I was standing in a skyscraper because the ceiling in the museum was very high. We went to the museum to learn about Aboriginal culture.

I learnt that there are different coolamons for different things. Some are made for carrying water and others are made for carrying things like babies and berries.
Our class then moved onto the dinosaurs, and when I saw the size of those mighty beasts I felt like a tiny little ant. In the next room, we saw an axe that reminded me of stormbreaker. Then I saw fossilised Dino poop and we went to the museum to learn about aboriginal art. I felt interested but I think they need some rare, real things. It would be cool if they found a real dinosaur.
It was so much fun and I would love to do it again but I guess will have to do that with my parents. In fact, I’m going to do that with them this weekend and I thought it was so interesting and fun!
