PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

AMADEUS Yr 3-6 tomorrow

Dear Parents and Carers,

Before we finish the term, I would like to thank our dedicated staff at Sacred Heart for all they do for the students who attend the school. It has been an incredibly difficult two years for them in terms of change and accountability. I would also like to thank a great team of casual teachers who have filled in so many gaps this term as we navigate illnesses and absences.

With a looming teacher shortage predicted over the coming years we are incredibly lucky to have teachers who are hard working, loyal to the school, professional and act always in the best interests of the children.

Please take a look at our Director, Tony Farley’s letter and video message to parents and teachers. It is entitled:  Never take teachers for granted. Link

Unfortunately, our Athletics Carnival was cancelled last week. Narrabeen Academy of Sport have given us an alternate date which we have accepted. Please note it in your diary as it is the last day of term 2 - Friday July 1st.

Dance Fever

Our students love Dance Fever! Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 showcased their dances for their parents this morning and even had a dance with their special visitors. Such fun and so much energy and excitement because we had so many parents back onsite today. Thank you all for attending.

Coming Up

Friday 1st April Earth Hour Friday

This year our Environmental Student Leaders would like to celebrate Earth Hour. From 2pm to 3pm on Friday the 1st of April the children and teachers will not use any technology at school. We would love the children to play board games during that time and so they can bring a game in for the day if they have a special one.
