Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to our teachers and parents for their wonderful support of our students. In partnership you have taught our students this term and the feedback I have received from teachers and parents regarding our revamped interviews and reports is that they have been received very positively. If you have any more feedback we are happy to receive it.

The children and the P and F will present Mr Nick Brierley with a gift tomorrow morning to celebrate his upcoming marriage on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church. Father Phil will officiate the marriage of Nick and Emily. We wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter of their lives. 

Thank you to the parents that have answered the canteen survey. We had a large number of very prompt and helpful replies. We consolidated the requests and suggestions and shared them with our current provider. They felt they were unable to make the changes we shared them with and will be finishing their service shortly. We are currently working with a number of professional caterers and looking at ways we can meet the needs of our community. As soon as we make the change we will let you know.

This week we have said farewell to a large number of our SCS Eastern Region Office staff who have either moved to other roles within the system or left the organisation due to the restructure of SCS. Yesterday we said farewell to our Consultant Mr Greg Thornton. Some of you may have met him at assemblies or on panels. Greg has been a great support to our cluster of Principals and our schools. It has been humbling to see and hear of the numerous wise and experienced leaders who have completed their work with great dignity and respect for the Catholic system where they have given many years of service.

Our children are very tired and ready for the holidays. The high emotion of our recent times has really had an impact on our students and I'm sure families as well. I hope that you get a chance to have some downtime with the children and to have a well deserved break this holidays. Thank you to our teachers who have worked the last twenty three weeks non stop. They will have a well deserved break over the holidays.

Please see the revised date for our Staff Development Day for Term 3. We have cancelled the Monday Week 1 day and so students should return on Monday the 20th July. We will finish Term 3 on Thursday the 24th September and hold our Science SDD on Friday the 25th September.
