Dear Parents and Carers
We have a very busy last week and a half at school ahead of us. While closing out the year we are also preparing for 2023. We have farewells and welcomes throughout this week and next. But overall it wouldn't be a festive season without the frantic busyness of concerts, liturgies, juggling work and Christmas commitments. Hopefully in all the frantic, organised or unorganised chaos we will all take time to reflect on the why of Christmas. As Catholics in Australia we are able to freely celebrate the birth of Christ and the hope and love that it brought to the world. Each year we remember through tradition, liturgy, prayer and song that we are Jesus people. We know we have the same values and that's why we choose to work in a Catholic school or choose to educate our children in a Catholic school. There are quite a few opportunities over the coming week and a half to pray together, to celebrate together and to welcome new staff and leaders.
Our new Assistant Principal has been appointed and is eagerly looking forward to meeting you all. Mrs Jane Taylor is an experienced Assistant Principal and is absolutely thrilled to be appointed to Sacred Heart Mosman. She will be visiting the school for a few days next week and will meet the staff and students and get acquainted with the school.
Regards,
Julie Caldwell
